Part one

Q: Why do dragons live in vulcanic caves ?

Well, dragons are cold blooded reptiles, they need high temperatures.

Q: How to know about the sex of a dragon ? I can't see any differences between male and female dragons ...

Male dragons have very deep voices and are normally a bit bigger than female ones. Male dragons often have spikes from the head to the end of the tail. They also have more and bigger horns as the females.

Q: What about the colors of dragons ?

There are some theories about that. Some people think the color of a dragon shows it's character. So they think gold dragons are very kind and good, and green dragons are evil, for example. But I don't belive in that, for me the color means nothing.

Q: Do female dragons have horns ?

There are some kinds of female dragons that don't have horns, but mostly they have horns .

Q: Is it true that dragons keep big treasures in their caves ?

I know some who do , but mainly not. Sure, there are sooo many stories that say exactly that, but don't belive in them ... This is why so many humans try to kill dragons !

Q: How long do they live?

Dragons can be VERY old ! I know dragons who are over 2000 years old. Nobody know's if they have eternal life ... nobody ever tried it out.

Q: What's the difference between European (Western) dragons and Asian dragons ?

The European (Western) dragon is a reptile with four legs and two wings, an Asian dragon is like a snake, and it has no wings. Take a look at the general info page , please.

Q: What is a dragonknight ?

The dragonknights mainly live in the draconic city We'a'Por. They are a part of the dragons army there. Dragonkights are small dragons (about two meters tall) who are very strong and mostly very intelligent. They are there to protect the dragons. Ask more info here!

Q: Do all produce fire? How do they proceed?

All types of dragons I know (except very small ones) do breath fire. To breath fire is easy for them : everytime they eat, they save some of the energy in a special organ. It produces a substance wich is VERY flamable. It explodes if gets into contact with oxygen. A normal dragon can normally save enough of this substance for about five long breaths of fire !

Q: When and where is the origin of the myth of Dragons (Eastern and Western) ?

It's up to Kalandra to answer this ...

Q: What's the size of a dragon (and size of their body parts) ?

There are BIG differences between the species ... But to name some example's : A  battle dragon is 8 meters tall , has an 5 meter long tail and  a wingspread of over 6 meters . The battle dragon is one of the largest dragons ... A normal green dragon is about 6 meters tall , with a 4 meter tail and a wingspread of 5 meters .

Q: Do they fly easily?

Dragons have to learn flying (like any flying creature), and at first it's really hard for them. After some time the muscles gain (about three months), and it's  much more easy for them then.

Q: What are their mating habits (we want details ;-) ?

Uhhh , this's a question for Kalandra , too !

Q: Their skin is covered by scales, right? Can you give me more details?

Well, as their main defense weapon is fire, they are incombustible. You can see a dragon's age on its scales : It's strange, I always thought they'll lose color with the years but it's the opposite ! They gain color with age! An unbelievable thing, but it's one of the wonders of the ancient dragon magic, which is in every dragon.
