Manifesto of the YiffITA mailing list version 2.0 of 2/7/2001 Welcome to the Italian mailing list about the sexual and erotic aspects of furries in arts, comics, literature, and as lifestyle. For "furries" we mean anthropomorphic animals, that is, animals with human traits, which speak and/or reason like humans while still retaining animal traits, and as well characters with phisical traits of both humans and animals. The mailing list is for the purpose of exchanging ideas, information, news and resources about the erotic and sensual aspects of furries. The authorization to join the list is EXCLUSIVELY granted to adults over 18 years old; approval of the moderators is required. Every subscription request must be presented along with a formal age statement and a declaration that the ISP, the list hosting server, the moderators and the members are not to be held responsible in case of infringement. Any acknowledged minor participating to the list will be banned until the appropriate age is reached. In-Topic and Off-Topic: the topics accepted in this mailing list are those about erotic and sexual aspects of anthropomorphic animals. Links or pictures related to pedophilia are ABSOLUTELY banned from the list. Any infringement of this rule would result in IMMEDIATE banning from the list and report to competent authorities if necessary. Topics dealing with care and breeding of real animals, art and literature not related with furry themes are not acceptable. Exceptions can be done in the case of common interest topics. Spamming, flaming, insulting and unappropriated arguments will not be tolerated. Anybody ignoring basic netiquette rules of tolerance and respect will be banned from the list. Binary files (images, sounds, texts etc.) are allowed for a total maximum size of 300 Kb. Posting of MS Office or other very specific formats is better avoided, while posting of executables of any sort is prohibited. HTML format messages should be avoided as well. Pictures, texts and stuff should only be posted by the respective authors or with the author's specific authorization. For resources found over the Web, only post the URL of the file or page. Pictures must be in JPEG or GIF format,all other file types (texts, sounds and others) should be compressed in ZIP format. Pointing out hacked or illegal software and how or where to get it is not allowed. The rating of pictures and texts is R to XXX, thus strictly for mature audience and forbidden to minors of 18 years. When replying to a message please do quote only the necessary parts of the original text and remove large signatures in the previous message. Messages of mere salutation and thanksgiving should be avoided in order not to increase the traffic when not necessary. Each message must have a Subject so that the users can easily follow the threads. Advertising is acceptable only in small amounts and only if related to the topic. Any problem or protest must be addressed to the list-master and/or list-owners and absolutely not the whole list. The same is true for replies to official messages from us.
