Here we go!

I am making XMs. This is a short form of eXtended Modules a very popular tracking format, the older one is more known and is called MOD, the single form for Module. Well where is the difference between them ?

Type max # of chn. Sampleq.
MOD 4 8 bit
XM 32 16 bit

MODs can handle max. 22khz and XMs max. 44 khz Samples, although you would think that 8 Bit samples aren't sounding even as good as 16 Bit samples, there are still some MODs which sound very good!

I respect the people who make good music with less equipment, there you can see the skill of the composer.
