How did I get my character "Skunki"?

I use "Skunki" on Furnet because, I liked the skunk who wasn't allowed to get into Donald's house in the Micky Mouse Magazin Nr.31/1981 just because he was a skunk (is that a reason?).

I looked at the second picture and I'm sure, he was *very* sad. Skunks have feelings.....but no human cares, and ducks, too.

All pictures and characters above are copyright by the Walt Disney Company 1981

How does Skunki look like..?

Skunki is a small skunk morph, just about 1m (39,37 inches) tall. He is quite happy with this size, because he doesn't like bumping his head in his celler. Skunki is not very happy at home; many humans don't like him because he is a skunk, so he likes going out in summer quite often. He loves diving, traveling and camping with friends and he also loves to cuddle a lot. Skunki doesn't spray and is a quite clean Skunk, so don't be afraid to hug him.

A new creation.

After CF10 in April 1999 I had a very unpleasent encounter with Americans. Out of this experience the idea of a new fursuit was forming itself in my mind. It was supposed to be a serious, realistic character. My decission fell on the picture of Dirk Schmidt you can see below. The new character was named "Schreber" according to a biological term for "skunk" (Encyclogedie Van Het Dierenriyk Bd. 2; Wilhelm Eigner, Georg Westermann Verlag 1973; ISBN 9060930555, Page 452). He is usually wearing a German uniform and is always armed.

Art...

Picture taken by Nuxubee James Skunk investigating the streets of Frankfurt.

Picture taken by Nuxubee Sitting on a bench...I wonder what might happen if I use this picture for an application.

Airbrush on Schoellershammer cardboard; 50x70 cm; done by Dirk Schmidt Schreberskunk in a German Luftwaffe uniform posing in front of a parked ME109 during a rainy day. Although I like being a cutey, one of my old dreams was becoming a pilot in my later life. Due the fact that I'm short-sighted this won't be possible anymore.

Me drawn as a cutey by Herbie Hammil. I love this kind of pics!
