Scribbles / Explanations:
I made some scribbles after having finished the suit. Maybe I can explain some things to you or help with that sketches. Sorry for the ugly colors, but the different parts must be identifiable.
Note: this is just the way I did it - I do not pretend that this is a good/the best way, there may surely be better ones. The benchmark is not correct, and the pattern is just an approximate model.
Sewed parts / parts fixed with hot glue:
  The blue colored parts have been sewed with a sewing machine or by hand.

The fat line on the right side of the chest is a zipper, attached with the sewing machine. The fur at the beginning of the chest is hold together with the body by a Velcro (above the zipper).
There are better ways to "close" a suit, the zipper at the front is really not the best!

The green parts are fixed with hot glue.
Pieces of fur:
  To get the pattern for the body, I cut an old carneval costume into pieces. The single pieces of fur were NOT really perfect, the proportions were incorrect, but at least I could make a rough estimate with it.
I do NOT have a real big pattern, you don't need to ask me for that, I have nothing I could give you. I just can show here the pieces what they looked about.

1 = body
2 = under arms / alar
3 = arms
4 = stripe on back
5 = chest (long fur)
6 = inside legs
7 = crotch / butt

The dashed line at the body pieces will be cut out later - there the pieces of the inside of the legs will be attached then.
Pieces of fur - body:
  Looks like a bad anatomy picture... Sorry for the awful colors!

Here you can see where the pieces of fur are placed on the suit. The paws (feet/hands) are seperate.

The tail is made like a hose, filled with cotton wool (also the tail tip).

Below you see the suit from the back (butt and inside of the legs) and the alar. The piece of fur under the arms is necessary to lift up your arms without ripping the seam.

The tail / hips:
The tail is fixed to the body with a belt on the hips, so that it moves like part of the body. There is a little piece of wire in the beginning of the tail - so that it doesn't hang down like a dead thing but "stands" a little (not too much or it will look like a monkey / or unnatural).

A belt like this is good that the tail can't get ripped of, if some people should try pulling.
The head - airflow:
  The ventilator located in the nose sucks out the hot air and blows it out of the (open) mouth.

There is a belt under the chin, a Velcro again. When I open my mouth wide enough, the mouth of the suithead will open. When I close it again, the mouth will be shut again by some elastic bands.
The head - electronic:
  A = ventilator, 12V
B = cables
C = switch
D = recharging battery

The recharging battery is quite heavy (has power for about 6-7 hours) and balances the weight from the quite heavy nose (ventilator) very good. The recharging battery is located in my neck, in a little "pocket" I made under the fur.

The ventilator is a little aslant because it is too hight for the nose, cause it is quite big (but still very quiet).

With the little switch at the side I can turn on and off the ventilator without having to put off the head.
